Every morning, the bells of the Greek Orthodox Church bless me, calling me into a new day. What can be more divine than this invitation? Life unfolds before us, and with each new dawn, we are given the precious gift of time to realize our dreams.

With an international background shaped by life and work in five countries, I bring a cross-disciplinary perspective to scientific and cultural challenges. Growing up in Armenia in a binational Armenian-Greek family, I learned four languages and developed a global, holistic approach to problem-solving.

My academic path began with a Ph.D. in Physics, focusing on theoretical modeling, and later evolved into archaeology, with postdoctoral research at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and Ghent University. My specialization in archaeometallurgy reflects a passion for uncovering the material evidence of our shared history.

In parallel, I have cultivated a strong artistic practice. A graduate of the New York Institute of Photography, I have held twelve international photo exhibitions & presentations, including three in the U.S. My work blends research, storytelling, and visual narrative.

I write and photograph under the name Marina Lazarus — meaning "God is my Helper." In every endeavor, I feel an inspiration that transcends the limits of my existence, taking me beyond my personal cosmos. This sense of being led, a connection to the Divine, fuels my creativity and guides my artistic journey. I am deeply grateful for this divine influence on my path.
